Fresh Lingonberry Porridge

Where does a vegan get protein? How much protein is there?

This seems to be the question that is most frequently asked from vegans. Well protein is all over the place, and it can also be added almost to everything, so a vegan won’t most definitely die in a lack of protein. Nowadays we think more that a vegan who eats a versatile diet, or anyone else in the matter of fact, don’t need to use protein powders. However, the recipe below, it includes added rice protein, and if you leave it out, it might only enhance the flavor of the recipe.

Fresh Lingonberry Porridge

2 servings

– 1 Banana

– 1 dl Lingonberry

– 1 dl Oatmeal (gluten-free)

– 1 dl Riceprotein

– 5 pcs Dates

– 1 tbsp Grated coconut

– 2 dl Rice coconut milk (Provamel)

– 1 dl Water

– 1 pipette/dropper full of rose root extract

– touch of coconut oil

– pinch of Himalayan salt

– touch of vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender and pour into serving bowls.

2. Put in the fridge for a few hours. VoilΓ , ready to be enjoyed!
